By working her way up the ranks, Ms. Pincha-Tulley has developed an expertise in governmental operations management in agriculture and forestry. As a forest fire chief, she is responsible for directing the protection of 1.6 million acres of land, managing fire suppression, and overseeing aviation and national response. A compassionate individual, she served as a National Incident Commander in Mississippi less than 14 hours after hurricane Katrina battered the area in 2005. Ms. Pincha-Tulley attributes her work ethic and successes to her short memory and the support she receives from the good people with which she works.

Ms. Pincha-Tulley earned a Bachelor of Science in forest management from the University of Washington in 1980. Her education and comprehensive experience lay the groundwork for the confidence she showcases in face of a crisis. The variety in Ms. Pincha-Tulley’s day-to-day routine keeps her skills refined and her work ethic in the right place. One day she could be working in the office, and the next she could be saving a life, thus she maintains affiliation with industry-specific organizations including the California Fire Chiefs Association, the Society of American Foresters and the National Wildfire Suppression Association.
